Sustainable Industries & Green Growth

Bangladesh economy has been transforming from Agricultural production to trade and manufacturing products. However, expansion of its industries as emerging economy is notable but in many cases they are yet to conforming neither national regulation nor global set of rules in relation to environment and social compliances. BSSF, as pilot initiative started implementation of " Participatory Environmental and Social Compliances Framework " to attain Sustainable Industries and Green Growth from January 2022. As we know, South and South West region of Bangladesh are most vulnerable to Climate Change impact therefore participatory framework has been implementing in partnership with MSMEs, Districts Marchent Associations, Public Organisations and CSOs.
